Our Tours

Cycling Holidays in France

We are pleased to offer you exclusive cycling tours in France, ranging from trips to the battlefields of the Somme to way back in history to the days Richard the Lionheart. Our offers do not stop there, as every year in August we will give the serious cyclist the opportunity to ride the Parcours Tour du Limousin, one of France’s classic cycling races. Many of the teams from the professional peloton can be seen at this event, having already competed in the Tour de France. We can also offer Legend of the Limousin weekend breaks for the discerning cyclist who requires a challenge.

All of our French cycling tours have been researched and ridden by our staff, some loved the region so much they have made their home there. If you are looking for a cycling holiday that is much more than beaches and bars then this could be for you. We ride through the countryside of the Limousin at a slow pace and we eat from the local farms. Our accommodation ranges from friendly B&B’s to Grand Chateaux. Sometimes it is difficult to keep your eyes on the road as the scenery is so stunning. Often you will see other cyclists on the way and they will greet you with a courteous Bonjour! Cycling in France is a respected past-time you will have to look twice sometimes to determine the age of the man in lycra. We at Coeur de Lion & Western Front Tours enjoy our cycling and we hope you do too!
